ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE CINÉ CLUB

The garden area of the Alliance Française forms the venue for the organisations Ciné-club.

The next garden ciné-picnic takes place on February 14 (Valentines Day) and patrons are invited to bring blankets, buy a picnic pack from the Alliance café, relax, watch a movie and share the romance of the day!

The film will be Could This Be Love? (Je Crois que Je l'aime) by Pierre Jolivet, Lucas, a 43 year-old rich, divorced industrialist, is irresistibly attracted to 38-year-old Elsa, a renowned ceramist who he’s commissioned to create a fresco for his office foyer. However, still smarting from a recent disappointment in love, he asks Roland Christin, a private detective from his company, to discover the reasons why this lovely woman is still single. Without the slightest scruple, Roland puts the most modern of surveillance methods into operation.

The doors open at 18h00 on February 14 and the film starts at 19h00 as night falls. Entry R20 (free for Alliance Française members). Alliance Française de Durban is situated at 22 Sutton Crescent (off Windermere Road) in Morningside. For more information contact 031 312 9582 or fax 031 312 2864 or email: durban@alliance.org.za
