On February 14, artSPACE Durban opens with a photography group show titled Shooting Southern Africa.
“One of the first exhibitions at artSPACE durban, over seven years ago, was a group exhibition of photographs,” says owner Karen Bradtke.”Since we are in our eighth year at artSPACE durban we thought it was high time for another. We are bringing together a diverse group of photographers from emerging to established.
“Shooting Southern Africa is the title of the exhibition and also the theme that was given to the group of photographers invited to show in the exhibition. It was left up to the artists to then interpret in their own style and personalities in the images that they will be showing.”
Participating artists are: Rogan Ward, Andrew Nunn, Angela Buckland, Julie Mayo, Zaf Zafer, Patrick Royal, Harry Lock, Clinton Friedman, Jacki Bruniquel, Kevin Goss-Ross, Peter Machen, Allister Starke, Peter Engblom, Anthea Martin, Cally Lotz, Peter Bendheim, Jane Bedford, Laurence Brennon, Sally Chance, Allen E. Schultz, Anita de Villiers, Kerry Hancock and Joanne Rushby.
