(M Mainolfi and Mattia Zappa)On March 8, Friends of Music will host a recital by the Duo Zappa-Mainolfi: Mattia Zappa (violoncello -Swiss / USA) and M Mainolfi (piano - Italy / USA).
Both Juillard graduates and prize winners of several International competitions, they will present a programme of works by Bach, Sibelius, Dvorak and Brahms.
The Prelude Performer of the evening will be soprano Gabrielle Wills who will perform songs by Kurt Weil and Ira Gershwin.
The concert takes place on March 8 at 19h45 at the Durban Jewish Centre, 44 Old Fort Road, Durban. Booking is at Computicket. There is safe parking. FOM acknowledges the support of the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund.
