The Hinds Brothers are back to perform at The Red Door in Pietermaritzburg after their return from the Cape, offering an acoustic evening with some of South Africa's finest upcoming singer/songwriters.
Although inspired and influenced by the artists of The Great Musical Renaissance of the 60’s and 70’s, Aden and Wren Hinds have evolved a style uniquely and undeniably their own. Acoustically driven, their songwriting is insightful, lyrical and melodic, while their voices blend into an unmistakable harmony. These qualities, perfectly complimented by voices of great originality make live performances by these young musicians an intimate, dynamic and unforgettable experience.
They are currently recording their debut album, and have an acoustic EP The Acoustic Session.
The support act will be well-known golden voiced Pietermaritzburg musician, Erin Fourie.
The music starts at 20h00 on March 8. The Red Door is in Quarry Rd, off Victoria Road, in Pietermaritzburg. Travelling from the City centre, go all the way down to Victoria Road, turn left and go through three robots (last one being West St). Drive on till you see Builders Suppliers on right. Turn down first little street right - before you get to Hirsch’s. Red Door is on the right. Car guards on duty. More information from Roger O’Neill on 083 230 6562
