The Hinds Brothers will perform Live at Phansi Museum on March 3.
Brothers Aden and Wren, both singer/songwriters, unite to form an incomparable duo. Music literally runs in their veins. Father Kevin Hinds was a recording singer/songwriter with EMI in the early 70’s and went on to perform extensively to audiences throughout the country. Their older brother, Craig Hinds of Watershed, is one of the country’s premier musicians.
Although inspired and influenced by the folk artists of the 60’s and 70’s, Aden and Wren Hinds have evolved a style undeniably their own. Acoustic guitars and arranged vocal harmonies deliver lyrical and melodic original songs.
They are currently recording their debut album, and have produced an acoustic EP titled The Acoustic Session.
The Hinds Brothers will perform in Phansi Museum’s Live at Phansi programme on March 3 at 19h30. Admission R40 and bookings are essential on 031 206 2889. Phansi Museum is situated at 500 Esther Roberts Road, Glenwood. Phone 031 206 2889, fax 086 546 2482 or cell 083 450 3270 or email: info@phansi.com or visit www.phansi.com
