In aid of the 2011 South African Society of Music Teachers' Conference, Liezl-Marét Jacobs (piano), Boris Kerimov (cello) and Elena Kerimova (violin) will perform works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Piazzolla on March 11.
The chamber music programme includes Beethoven’s Piano Trio No 5 in D Major (Ghost); Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio in D minor Op.49 and Piazzolla’s Libertango. The money raised at this concert will go towards funding the four-day SASMT Conference in April.
The concert will last for just over an hour and will take place at Howard College Theatre, UKZN, at 19h30 on March 11. Tickets R100 at the door: Enquiries to Liezl on 072 448 2862.
