MONTESEEL FAMILY FUN DAY

The Monteseel Mountain Climbing hut has been made available to the Monteseel Community to use as a space for various projects from abseil training, workshops, fetes and fairs, live music, movie, dinner evenings and much more. This unique beautiful space has a lot to offer with magnificent views over the Valley of 1000 Hills, and easy access to the community members.

Held on May 28, the Monteseel Family Day offers a day out for the whole family, with live music, fire dancing, stalls, home-made food stuffs, fun for the children, a nursery, big screen rugby, abseiling excursions, and much more.

Live music will be presented by The Last Addiction & Friends with Steve Creswell (bass and vocals), Derek Jones (lead guitar and vocals), Bruce Smith (rhythm guitar and vocals), Dick Tempest (drums) and Paul Arthur (lead guitar & vocals) direct from the Steve Creswell Farm and Studio in Botha's Hill.

Sylvia Tempest & Sue Watt will be filling in the afternoon acoustic set.

The Monteseel Family Day runs from 14h00 to 22h00 on May 28 in Magdalene Street, Monteseel. Entrance R10 (R5 children).
