Once again, the Indian Academy of SA presents its Annual Heritage Series with the 2011 programmes well underway. There will be five concerts, mostly Telugu and Tamil in content, included in the programme.
An Evening of North Indian Divine Melodies promises to cater for Urdu, Gujerati and Hindi speaking music and dance lovers. The show will feature one of India’s leading female vocalists, Usha Raj, backed by top South African entertainers, The Dilkash band led by music director: Rajiv Mohan.
The talented Manesh Maharaj will present a programme of dance items. An extra special rendition will be featured on the santoor by Manesh Ramjuthan.
