An interactive group/gathering of those interested in the betterment of the Visual Arts will take place on July 13. The guest speaker will be Harry Lock, a freelance photographer with a special interest in editorial work.
Harry Lock will discuss the relationship between Photography and Painting. It has never been an easy relationship but always an interesting one. He will be looking at the impact of photography on painting after its invention in 1839, and how each has taken from, and given to the other ever since.
The meeting will take place at the Hellenic Hall, Browns Drift, Durban North in the Pub area – Eat Greek at 18h00 for18h30. Entry R50/head. Dinner will be provided by Eat Greek (drinks can be purchased) and there is secure parking.
