Following a sold-out run at Suncoast last month, The Dingalings bring their brand new comedy called Dings, Flings and Other Things to the Ridge Park College auditorium on July 29 and 30.
Subtitled Class of ‘85, the play is a much-awaited sequel to their hit comedy Chops, Choons and Spano Dops.. It is directed by comedy heavyweight Yugan Naidoo and features Dingalings comic favourite Henry Ramkissoon , the talented Senzo Mthethwa from Boolulu Uncle fame; husband and wife comedy stalwarts Koobeshen and Kumseela Naidoo; Verushka Odayen and new-comer Sharika China.
Ravi Subramoney has composed the score and adds to the appeal with his performance of all the music.
The story deals with a group of guys who attend their matric reunion, taking audiences down a nostalgic trip back to the good old days of the 80's complete with all the favourite 80's hit music. What they plan to be a guys’ weekend away doesn't quite pan out as intended, when wives, girl friends and old flames all show up.
Dings, Flings and Other Things is a light-hearted comedy which promises to be the best offering from the Dingalings yet. Performances take place on July 29 and 30 at 20h00. Tickets R80 booked at Computicket. More information from dingalingsproductions@gmail.com
