THE STRANGE CASE OF DINAH LANE

Annie Robinson and Paul Spence return to the Hexagon Dive in Pietermaritzburg with one of their finest dinner thrillers in classic Agatha Christie style for the unravelling of The Strange Case of Dinah Lane.

It is 1929, “The Roaring Twenties”. The Charleston is all the rage across colonial Natal. At a winter weekend Ra Ra on a North Coast sugar estate during an extraordinarily opulent 'Christmas in July' party, a shocking murder is committed. Each one of the dazzling array of guests is a suspect. Each 'loyal' member of staff is under suspicion. This is murder at its most foul.

Who will unravel the intricate web of mystery? The challenge is on the diners, to work out whodunit – how and why! You will be wined, dined and royally entertained! This production sold out at the Hilton Festival, Michaelhouse and The Hexagon Dive in 2008.

The Strange Case of Dinah Lane takes place from July 21 to 23 at 19h00 for 19h30 at the Hexagon Dive Theatre on the University of KZN Pietermaritzburg campus. Tables seat 10. Price R180pp includes a three-course Christmas meal! Bookings on 033 845 0400. All proceeds from this event will go to Project Gateway ‘Changing lives, impacting communities’.
