This year’s much anticipated Northwood Musical promises to be a fun filled cinematic experience for the whole family!“Hollywood Rocks is a tribute to the decades of memorable music that movies have brought audiences. We visit a young Tom Cruise, a classic James Bond and a Mojo-Filled Austin Powers,” says the publicity material. “We laugh at celebrities like Brad Pit, Angelina Jolie and Justin Bieber and we jam the night away to Burlesque, Chicago, Jai Ho and Dirty Dancing!
“Professional choreographers, sound and lighting teams and a live band mean this show will be as close to the Oscar winning performances as you can get,” promise the school. “The music will take you back in time and the dances will amaze you as this professional show takes you right into the movie screen.”
Hollywood Rocks runs for three nights, August 11, 12 and 13. The August 11 performance is a buy-one-get-one-free special for all school learners in uniform while the other two performances are presented in supper theatre style where the audience can bring their own snacks and drinks.
