ROLL OUT THE BARREL

Appearing at Rhumbelow Theatre tonight and tomorrow night is the Dee'z "M" Bee'z in their latest show Roll out the Barrel which is is a combination of “Good old Songs”, “Not So Old Good Songs”, Pommie-style comedy and wit, all to send you home with a smile on your face and a song that sticks in your head.

Dave Burch and Bernie Davenport are two English guys who have had 20 years experience entertaining together and many more individually.

“We have recently had the pleasure of well-known Folk Singer Mim Erasmus joining our Company,” they say. “This has brought a wider variety to our shows. Together we are known on the Durban scene for Pub Nights – Sing-a-longs – Cabarets, Tommy Cooper, comedy magic, etc. We tailor our shows to suit the occasion, your requirements and of course, the venue. Mim has brought another dimension with her amazing vocals, acoustic guitar, banjo and violin.

“Our repertoire covers British Sing-a-long music, Folk, 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s. music,” continues the other “D”, Dave Burch, “Artists include The Beatles, Cliff Richard, Tom Jones, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin Abba (comedy), John Denver, Barry Manilow, and many more.”

Roll out the Barrel has two performances at Rhumbelow Theatre on August 19 and 20 at 20h00.

Performances on August 19 at 20h00 and August 21 at 18h30 (Venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner). Tickets R100. Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road.
