As part of the Heritage month celebration, Isiqiniseko Arts and Events in partnership with Stable Theatre invite young people to be part of Azibuye Emasisweni, the indigenous languages and cultural youth programme.
This programme includes a workshop on the importance of understanding, speaking and preserving indigenous languages as well as a short play showcasing the different African ceremonies.
The purpose of this programme is to encourage young people to learn, embrace and speak indigenous languages as well as the importance of preserving these languages.
Azibuye Emasisweni takes place at Stable Theatre on September 24 at 08h00. Entrance is free.
