EWOK & ROB WARREN

Ewok & Rob Warren

Iain Ewok Robinson and Rob Warren will be festival hopping over the next two weekends. Both are performing at the Glenwood Street Music Festival this weekend and at the Witness Hilton Arts Festival next weekend.

At the Witness Hilton Arts Festival at Hilton College from September 16 to 18, Ewok will present Rapped in Truth, a performance of spoken word poetry. It features pieces from his various one-man shows, as well as select tracks from his various recording projects.

Rob Warren will present original material in a project known as Future is Behind Us, with bass styling by his brother Garth. “As I have been putting through into this project, I have been listening through old recordings and it has been amazing to see how what I sang about in my early years - the things I yearned for, even asked for - is now what makes up my life,” he contemplates.

Booking is now open with the full programme on www.hiltonfestival.co.za

The festival would not be possible without: The Witness, East Coast Radio, Grindrod Bank, SAPPI, SPAR, TOPS, Black Coffee, Nedbank, Budget, SAB, Star Hire, KZN Dept of Arts & Culture.
