(Sean Bean as Eddard Stark)

With 13 Emmy Award Nominations, Game of Thrones proudly joins the M-Net line-up!

HBO’s massively successful, much anticipated and eagerly awaited Medieval Fantasy, Game of Thrones is scheduled to start on September 26, 2011, at 21h30 only on M-Net and M-Net HD.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the South, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men… all will play the Game of Thrones.

The series is based on George R.R. Martin’s best-selling A Song of Ice and Fire books. It also has a fantastic all-star cast including Lena Headey, Jack Gleeson and Sean Bean.

Follow Game of Thrones at the Emmy Awards at 02h00 (live) and 21h30 on September 19, 2011, exactly one week before its M-Net Premiere.
