Free film screening on September 11: A decade after 9/11 - why do we not know what really happened?

SmartScreens presents a free screening of the documentary film Loose Change 2 by Dylan Avery on the 10th anniversary of 9/11:

Regarded as the first internet blockbuster, Loose Change 2 is an independent documentary film which sets out to prove the official story of 9/11 – “that the impact of two planes and the resulting fires caused the World Trade Centre steel framed buildings to collapse” -is false. Using witness testimony, expert analysis, news footage, and corroborating evidence this film is widely regarded as the most explosive and important film of the decade.

Starring George W. Bush, Condoleeza Rice, Dick Cheney, Philip Zelikow, Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, contributors from Fox News, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, fire-fighters, first responders and 9/11 victims, the film exposes alleged inconsistencies and lies put forward by the Bush administration in the hours, days and weeks after 9/11, and their role in hoaxing the American people that 19 "terrorists" were the sole perpetrators of 9/11.

The screening is an initiative of SmartScreens in partnership with the Centre for Fine Art and Design, which hosts free screenings every month of thought-provoking films on contemporary local and global issues. Space is limited on a first-come first-served basis. Refreshments on sale, but feel free to bring your own.

For more information go to Facebook group SmartScreens or contact CFAD on 031 240 8402.

Loose Change 2 will be screened at 13h30 for 14h00 at The Centre for Fine Art Animation and Design, 183 Cowey Road, Morningside, Durban.
