PAN LATINO

Lovers of Latin and African rhythm will be invigorated and energized by the sounds of Pan Latino who perform at Sunday Lunch at Emoyeni Lodge on September 4.

The band was formed in 2007 by Bolivian-born Kéch Sánchez (vocals, charango, guitar and pan pipes) who has lived and performed in South America, Europe and South Africa. The other musicians are John Bossé (bass), Daniël Rossouw (lead guitar) and Chris Melling (percussion), all from the Midlands town of Howick.

Their music is a result of old and new generations laying down their touch of different influences and styles, mixing them into the band’s distinctive and different pot of jamming with a strong Latin influence. Their first album is called Gondwanaland and this year, they released their second album, Bonitas.

Pan Latino will perform at Sunday Lunch at Emoyeni Lodge on September 4 at 12h00, with the music beginning at 12h30. Relax in country atmosphere, good food, great music and cash bar. R30 cover charge and à la carte Menu. Enquiries on 031 7851740 or 072 822 7988. For directions and map visit www.emoyenilodge.com
