(Sibusiso Duma’s "amaKhehla", oil on canvas)Opening at artSPACE Durban’s Main Gallery on September 26 is Sifundakwabadala (Learning from Elders), an exhibition of paintings by Sibusiso Duma in which he continues to explore in his works his relationship with his primary traditional environment.
In Sifundakwabadala, Duma explores his relationship with his Elders. Learning from Elders explores not only the positive but also the dark and negative aspects that have become so obvious and harmful to our societies.
