DURBAN MUSIC SCHOOL GALA

To celebrate its 10th anniversary the Durban Music School will present a Gala Concert on October 15 at the Playhouse.

Located in central Durban, the school was founded by Werner Dannewitz, one of South Africa's most experienced and devoted music teachers, with the aim of providing affordable musical education to young people and developing the musical talent of the KwaZulu-Natal area.

The concert includes the Clarinet Ensemble, String Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Sax Ensemble, Junior Orchestra, KZN Youth Wind Band, PawPaw Foundation Choir and the J G Zuma High School Choir.

The performance starts at 19h30 on October 15 in The Playhouse. Entrance is free but booking is essential by calling 031 304 1001 during office hours.
