MZANSI MAGIC

This week, Mzansi Magic offers the following highlights:

October 11 at 20:00: Oh Shucks I’m Gatvol Schucks is back and this time he's Gatvol. The rampant crime rate and unprecedented violence have finally become too much and Schucks together with his sidekick, little Alf, are joining the chicken run to Australia. However this promises to be the flight of his life given that the evil despot Samoosa Woestyn is stalking him.

October 12 at 22h30: The Least of These. Father Andre James, an African-American priest, returns to his old Catholic boarding school to replace another priest who has disappeared. Gradually, Farther James begins to suspect that the priest he replaced may have been murdered. As he sets out to uncover the truth, he is forced to confront his own troubled past.

October 13 at 19h00: Cooking with Siba (Ep 20). Tonight Siba meets actress Faye Peters, The Wild’s feisty chef-in-residence. As they make butternut salad, baked seafood risotto and Peppermint Crisp tart, we can’t help but wonder who’ll be the best chef in television town? Watch and see!

October 15 at 19h00: Rainbow Skellums. This locally-made film is a collection of candid-camera style skits designed to trap the unwary for the enjoyment of the audience. In Deep Rising at 20h30, gruesome creatures surface to attack and feed on the passengers on a luxury cruise liner in the South China Sea,. With swift and deadly precision, these voracious serpents swarm through every deck and passageway, devouring all living things in sight, and transforming the vessel into a floating chamber of horrors. For the few terrified survivors who are able to elude the terrifying invaders, a living nightmare awaits them at every turn. Trapped in the middle of nowhere and stalked by the relentless invaders that have entwined themselves throughout the entire ship, time is running out for the last of the human prey.

October 16 at 19h00: The Three Musketeers. Young King Louis XIII is on the throne, but if Cardinal Richelieu has his way, it won't be for long. Under the pretext of needing more soldiers for a war against England, the wily minister disbands the king's guard, leaving Louis defenceless. But three musketeers, Athos, Prothos and Aramis, refuse to relinquish their posts, incurring the wrath of the plotters. Along comes D'Artagnan, a young adventurer who would like nothing better than to be a musketeer. But three's company, and four's a crowd, until the musketeers discover that the newcomer may be just who they need to save France.
