The Visual Arts Network of South Africa (VANSA) is going GREEN!
eARTh, a contemporary, fine art and craft exhibition will shortly be hosted by VANSA at Gallery 415 and artists are invited to submit artwork to exhibit. The concept of the exhibition is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
“Climate change as we all know it, is used to refer specifically to climate change caused by human activity as opposed to changes caused as part of the earth's natural processes,” says VANSA. “eARTh is about creating a new image out of decay, the notion of introducing a fresher and newer perspective in combating climate change. eARTh is derived from the concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.”
Artworks to be dropped off at the gallery on November 18, 19 and 21, 2011. Gallery 415 is situated at 415 Umgeni Road, Durban. For more information contact VANSA KZN Administrator, Thembeka Teekay Ngcemu on 073 469 6407 or 031 303 4891 or email kznadmin@vansa.co.za or visit www.vansa.co.za
