(Hannah Thomson, Doug Shewell, Lauren Alblas, Neil Snyder and Kerry-Lee Brown)Just Muzicals is a music review produced and performed by members of the well-established Company of Theatre Arts (COTA) which makes a return visit to Rhumbelow Theatre.
The Company of Theatre Arts is a long established non-profit performance company, having put on highly acclaimed professional shows at The Heritage Theatre (One Hit Wonders), the Rhumbelow Theatre (Denim to Diamonds, Musical Mania, Rhythm of Life), The Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre (Everything old is new again, To be Frank, A Twist of Lennon), and the Westville Civic Centre (Stage & Screen, Blast thru the Past), to list a few.
Just Muzicals will include hit show numbers from Hairspray, Chicago, Annie Get your Gun, Burlesque, Grease, Rocky Horror Picture Show, West Side Story, The Pajama Game and Rent.
Bringing the successful formula of modern dance styles interlaced with comedy and lively entertainment, Just Muzicals runs from November 4 to 6 and again from November 11 to 13 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 18h30 for 20h00 start and Sundays at 17h00 for 18h30 start. The venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner.
Tickets R100. Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road.
