(Watercolour by Anthea Martin titled "Rosetta July")Running at The Living Room from November 5 to 12 is an exhibition of paintings and collages by Anthea Martin. Also on offer will be ceramics, hand-printed textiles and carpets from The ELC Art and Craft Centre at Rorke's Drift, KZN, as well as natural skincare products by MANOU.
The Living Room is a new concept established by Anthea Martin in her home to make art and craft lovers feel at ease when looking at fine art and high quality craft. It offers a place for conversations, networking and sharing ideas.
Anthea Martin has been active in the Durban art world since the 1980's and has exhibited her own paintings regularly. She is passionate in the appreciation and promotion of local artists of KwaZulu-Natal and worked for 13 years as the director of The African Art Centre.
The exhibition opens on November 5 at 13h00 and then runs until November 12 daily from 11h00 to 16h00.
