Baroque 2000 presents a Christmas concert on December 18 at the usual venue, the Church of the Monastery, Mariannhill, with its fine acoustics and tranquil surroundings.The programme includes Corelli's Christmas Concerto (Concerto Per la Notte di Natale) and instrumental excerpts from Handel's Messiah. The other works are Bach's Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, Scarlatti's Il Giardino di Amore, Vitali's Suite of Dances, and Albicastro's Concerto Grosso no 12.
