New Beginnings represents a week of activities at Sam's Homegrown Cafe' (previously Sambrowns) in Kloof. Sam's is teaming up with Kloof Senior Primary School in this fund-raising effort which runs until Friday (December 9), concluding with a gala dinner evening.
Apart from a three-course meal and a complimentary bottle of wine, choirs from both Ukusakwabasha and Kloof will entertain, including a band from Kloof Primary. Also appearing will be Stephani Koekemore and Ashleigh Van Heerden. The sale of tickets will go to supporting a Primary School, Ukusakwabasha Primary in the Valley of a 1000 Hills.
An art exhibition, open from December 9 will also be part of the activities. The artists displaying work are Patty Douglas, Chris Reabow, Julie Mayo, Lorna Panzenbuk, Wendy Knight, Christie Rowse and Vincent Reid. A selection of the art will also be auctioned during the evening.
“The Gala dinner is for a good cause and should be entertaining and contribute to the spirit of Christmas festivities. We hope you will support us.....see you at Sam's!,” says art dealer and publisher Neil Wright.
