NAF FRINGE DEADLINE LOOMS

The deadline for registration of Fringe productions, exhibitions and films for the 2012 National Arts Festival, Grahamstown, is just around the corner.

Artists who want to be part of the Fringe of the Amaz!ng 2012 National Arts Festival, running from June 28 to July 8 in Grahamstown this year, need to make sure that their application forms are submitted by January 20, 2012.

Now in its 38th year, The National Arts Festival, has proved its sustainability and has grown to be one of the leading arts festivals in southern Africa. Its objectives are to deliver excellence; encourage innovation and development in the arts by providing a platform for both established and emerging South African artists; create opportunities for collaboration with international artists; and build new audiences.

Performers and visitors to the National Arts Festival can once again expect the best of South African, African and international drama, music, dance, film, jazz and visual art, and a few other surprises, on display at venues throughout Grahamstown in 2012.

The National Arts Festival is sponsored by Standard Bank, The Eastern Cape Government, The National Arts Council, The National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund, The Sunday Independent and M Net.
