Beginners Ballroom and Latin American Social Dance Classes will be held at the Musgrave Methodist Church Hall from February 6 onwards. Experienced dance teacher Neville Letard will take an eight-week beginners’ social course in basic ballroom and Latin American dancing. No prior knowledge is necessary and those people with the proverbial “two left feet” are especially welcome!
Letard is one of the founders and directors of the annual Shall We Dance ballroom and Latin American dance showcase, and is a respected and sought-after teacher, dance administrator and dance ambassador.
At the end of the eight-week training, participants can expect to be able to do the basic steps in the waltz; cha-cha; jive and foxtrot. Men, women and couples are welcome. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes with a small heel.
Classes take place at the Musgrave Methodist Church Hall for eight weeks every Monday evening from 18h30 until 19h30 from February 6. Fee R500 pp/ R1,000 per couple for the course. For more information or to book your space contact Neville Letard on 083 779 3864.
