For more than two decades, the annual Splashy Fen Music Festival has seen thousands of people heading off to the mountains every Easter to enjoy a long weekend of live music against a backdrop of the scenic southern Drakensberg. Next year, this annual tradition will continue with the staging of the 23rd Splashy Fen on a farm by the same name near Underberg in KwaZulu-Natal.
According to organiser Pedro Carlo of C-Weed Entertainment Promotions, festival-goers can once again look forward to a four-day line-up of some of the country’s hottest live music acts, backed by top-class sound and lighting. “We also have a number of exciting new developments planned for next year’s festival, including a broader mix of music and even more to see and do – all of which is geared towards offering a total entertainment package and further enhancing the Splashy experience.”
