Be the first to see the enchanting British comedy-drama - The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel - at Cinema Nouveau’s upcoming Movie Connoisseurs evening where audiences get to enjoy sneak previews of the latest in movie entertainment!

Hosted by renowned journalist and blogger, Ailsa Windsor, this Movie Connoisseurs event takes place on March 18 at Cinema Nouveau in Gateway.

Directed by the award-winning John Madden, who charmed audiences with his 1998 film Shakespeare In Love,and written by Ol Parker, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel features a star-studded cast including the Oscar-winning Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Dev Patel, Tom Wilkinson and Maggie Smith.

The film follows a group of British retirees who decide to "outsource" their retirement to the less expensive and seemingly exotic India. Enticed by advertisements for the newly-restored Marigold Hotel and bolstered with visions of a life of leisure, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. Though the new environment is less luxurious than imagined, they are forever transformed by their shared experiences, discovering that life and love can begin again when you let go of the past.

Filmed entirely on locations in Udaipur and Rajasthan in India, the film has already received wide acclaim. It will be released officially on March 23.

Bookings open March 13 for this pre-release screening to join Ailsa Windsor and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel on March 18 at Cinema Nouveau in Gateway. Refreshments will be served from 17h00 and the screening starts at 17h30.
