High Heels with Balls is an emotionally moving play surrounding homosexuality which questions Human Rights and acceptance. Asiphe, a young gay prostitute, is trapped in the struggle of his identity and sexuality. He tells his story through poetry and dance. Why are homosexuals treated as sexual objects? Why are their rights not acknowledged?

Written and directed by Thabiso Radebe, High Heels with Balls runs at the DUT Art Gallery from March 20 to 23 at 19h00. Tickets R50 a ticket available at the door or booked on 073 908 7071, 071 718 2923, or 031 373 2207.

The DUT Art Gallery is situated in the Cecil Renaud Library Complex of the DUT Steve Biko Campus, 51 Steve Biko Road (entrance Gate 2).
