Jonothan Didlick
Jonothan Didlick returns to the Rhumbelow with his production Don't Burst My Bublé, a selection of songs by one of his favourite and most influential performers, Michael Bublé.
“While my peers were listening to the popular groups and singers of the 90’s and 2000’s,” he says, “I was dabbling into the genius and harmonies of the likes of The Beatles and Queen and the big band swing sound of the then, up-and-coming, Michael Bublé.”
Acknowledging his father, John Didlick of The Gee-Jays fame, as his musical inspiration, Jonothan has performed in numerous Heritage Theatre shows including Johnny Be Good, In the Summertime, Come Fly with Me, Let’s Party, the award winning King and Queen, Who’s your Daddy, Rock Legends 2, as well as appearances in Let’s hear it for the Boys, Let’s Twist Again and Blondes on Deck at uShaka’s Upper Deck.
Jonothan returns to Johannesburg in April to commence a year-long commitment with The Barnyard in a Robbie Williams show.
At Rhumbelow, he will be joined on stage by three young, sexy and elegant dancers to add to the glitz, glamour and laid-back atmosphere that are evident at all Bublé’s Vegas-styled stage appearances. Audiences can expect to hear the likes of Sway, Feelin Good, Come Fly with Me, Mack the Knife, Save the Last Dance for Me, For Once in my Life, Crazy little Thing called Love and Everything, plus many more favourites.
