M-NET ACTION HIGHLIGHTS

M-Net Action on DStv is to screen a number of good movies in the next couple of weeks.

Extreme Prejudice on April 11 at 20h30: Produced in 1987, it is directed by Walter Hill and stars Nick Nolte and Michael Ironside. Jack Benteen and Cash Bailey were childhood friends. Now Jack is a Texas Ranger and Cash is a ruthless drug lord who works out of Mexico. The two face off on opposite sides of the border, Jack determined to clean up the drug traffic, and Cash equally determined to preserve his lucrative business.

The Hurricane on April 14 at 20h00: Produced in 1999 (16VL) it is directed by Norman Jewison and stars Denzel Washington and Vicellous Reon Shannon. Assisted by a Brooklyn teen and three Canadians, boxer Rubin Carter fights to be pardoned after long imprisonment for murders he did not commit.

Air Force One on April 15 at 20h00: Produced in 1997 (16VL) it is directed by Wolfgang Petersen and stars Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman. Demanding the release of a political prisoner, a terrorist and his gang hijack the US president's plane.
