Forming part of the Playhouse Company’s 2012 Community Arts Festival is The Serpent’s Tale which appears in Programme 1.
The Serpent’s Tale is a story about a woman that tells her painful life experience of hurt, anger and betrayal while she persuasively seduces a man: she ends up killing him with poison in revenge for the male oppression she has undergone her whole life.
The play tells a story of love, flirtation and evil. It is performed by Nompilo Maphumulo.
CAF Programme 1 will be performed on April 12 at 18h00, April 13 at 11h00 (schools) and April 14 at 14h00. Admission is free to all CAF performances at The Playhouse.
