SONGS THE WARS MADE FAMOUS

(Dave Burch, Mim Erasmus and Bernie Davenport)

Dave Burch, Mim Erasmus and Bernie Davenport have been around the music scene for quite a while, and have their own style of presenting "Golden Oldies". In Songs The Wars Made Famous, their current show running at Rhumbelow Theatre, they transport audiences back to a time when music was an ally, supporting the troops and, maybe more so, the folks back home. This fun evening of music celebrates the MOTH 85th Birthday.

“There’s something in a song can be more precious than any possession,” say the performers. “Music has the magic quality to transport us back to another place and time in our mind. Fond and sometimes not so fond, these memories are special. Walk back down this musical road with us. The title says it all, come and listen to a selection of songs to unlock those memories.”

Songs The Wars Made Famous runs over weekends from April 27 to May 6 with shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 20h00 and Sundays at 18h30. Venue opens 90 minutes before show for picnic dinner.
