BLITHE SPIRIT

The Westville Theatre Club is to present Blithe Spirit directed by Jill Sysum which runs for two weeks at the WTC clubhouse.

Blithe Spirit is set in the 1930’s where socialite and novelist Charles Condomine invites an eccentric clairvoyant to his house to conduct a séance, hoping to gather material for his next book. The scheme backfires when he is haunted by the ghost of his annoying and temperamental first wife who continuously attempts to disrupt Charles’s second marriage.

This wonderful farce written by the great Noel Coward runs at the Westville Theatre Club’s clubhouse next to Westville Swimming Pool at Attercliffe Road in Westville. Dates are May 9 to 12 and again from May 16 to 19. Tickets R50 booked through Haircraft on 031 266 5239 during working hours (Haircraft is closed on Mondays)

Tickets R40 for organisations wishing to book the whole house for the night, ie 60 people. This light-hearted comedy offers an evening of fun and relaxation.
