Currently running on DStv’s Universal Channel is the second season of Fairly Legal, the first ever co-production with Universal Networks International and USA Networks
Fed up with the legal system that never seemed to value Truth and Justice the same way she did, Fairly Legal’s Kate Reed (Sarah Shahi) quit being a lawyer to become a mediator at her now-deceased father’s firm, which is being run by Kate’s stepmother – who just happens to be the same age as she is.
Driven by her complicated relationship with the law, Kate is a person who is willing to cut through the red tape because she would rather fix things outside of the courtroom. She is deeply committed to doing what’s right for everyone involved, even in the face of opposition.
