HENRY ROLLINS

Internationally acclaimed comedian Henry Rollins will knock on Durban’s door tomorrow evening during his “Long March” world tour and audiences are advised to strap themselves in for “a rollercoaster ride of wacky humour with a global twist”.

Local producer - Whacked: Special Project - brings this funny, sharp, informative, and above all, ‘real’ entertainer to The SunZone, Suncoast Casino, Hotel and Entertainment

This iconic punk rocker, social commentator and written word artist has performed on six continents and nearly 50 countries. While economic uncertainty and political upheaval define the global landscape on a broad scale, Henry Rollins is sure to capture audiences by bringing the human (and often humorous) side to life on these issues, as he shares stories from the road less travelled – including recent visits to North Korea, Mongolia, Bhutan, Vietnam, India, Tibet, Sudan, Uganda, Haiti and Cuba.

Henry’s relentless globetrotting to far-flung and often misunderstood corners of the globe is also the focus of his latest book, Occupants.

The performance will take place at 20h00 on May 19 at Suncoast SunZone. Tickets R278 booked through Computicket. For more info contact andre@capetownplaymakers.com or Suncoast on 031 328 3000 or visit www.suncoastcasino.com
