THE INSTITUTE FOR TAXI POETRY

Recently launched by Umuzi Press, award-winning author Imraan Coovadia’s The Institute for Taxi Poetry, has been described as his imaginative recycling of revolutionary tradition.

Solly Greenfields, a taxi poet from Cape Town, is murdered in his Woodstock Home. It is up to Adam Ravens, who once studied the art of taxi poetry under Solly, to figure out who killed his mentor and friend.

Imraan Coovadia is a recipient of the Sunday Times Fiction Award and is the author of The Wedding, Green-eyed Thieves and High Low In-between.
