Take a mini-break and enjoy a four/five day workshop in Salt Rock learning how to paint portraits in a beautiful beachside setting with Willie Jacobs.
“I usually demo every feature before artists/students try it themselves ,” says Willie Jacobs. “I will be there to assist everyone. Every day something will be demonstrated and put into practice what has been taught. I demo usually no longer than 30 minutes. Painters have plenty of time to complete their own paintings. I want everyone to go home with a completed portrait of a high standard. There will be DVD's available for sale that will help them to keep the information and principles fresh even long after I left.”
The workshops run from October 15 to 19 or October 18 to 21 from 09h00 to 14h00 (indicate preference) at a cottage on the beach - 25 Little Maritzburg in Salt Rock. Cost R2,000 includes tea/cake and light lunch afterwards for those who want it. Bring your own art materials and easel. No accommodation provided.
