An exhibition by Zane Lang is currently running in the Main Gallery at artSPACEdurban.
Born in Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) on September 16, 1957, Lang was brought up in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) before studying for a BA Fine Arts degree at Maritzburg University.
He then moved to Durban, where he exhibited at Cafe Genève Gallery, the NSA Gallery and in various group exhibitions. A member of the Community Arts Workshop during the mid-80s, he taught drawing part-time at the Durban Technikon, was a commercial artist for NAPAC and taught art at Glenwood Boys High.
For the past 11 years he has lived and taught in Gaborone, has exhibited in Gaborone’s National Gallery and is represented in their permanent collection.
