An authentic documentary that gives audiences real footage from Bob Marley’s life, Marley is featured in Ster-Kinekor’s Cinema Nouveau current Doccie Fest, providing the very best of entertainment. Starring Bob Marley, Ziggy Marley, Jimmy Cliff and many more of the singing legend’s nearest and dearest, this film brings audiences his story directly from those who knew him best.

Marley is being shown in select Ster-Kinekor and Cinema Nouveau theatres around South Africa. It reflects Bob Marley’s global popularity as well as the impact he had on music history. Directed by Kevin McDonald, the film examines his social and political influences by tracing his life story from his early days as a young musician to his rise to fame. This is both a historically and culturally relevant masterpiece.
