MINNIE AND JOHNSON SHOW

Fleur du Cap winner Godfrey Johnson and SAMA award nominee Emile Minnie will be performing raucous hits from the 60’s to the naughties with just a piano, a clarinet and a wine glass for percussion.

These two captivating artists light up the stage with their humour and energy in their production, The Minnie and Johnson Show. Songs include Love is a stranger by Eurythmics; Holding out for a hero by Bonnie Tyler and YMCA by the Village People. For that something extra they will perform French love songs by Piaf and Brel, as well as an original Afrikaanse treffer or two.

The Minnie and Johnson Show runs at Rhumbelow Theatre on August 17 and 18 at 20h00. Take along food picnic baskets and braais will be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Theatre is situated in Cunningham Avenue off Bartle Road.
