After four years, one of South Africa’s favourite exports – Seether - is back! The power trio will bring their impressive live set to Durban on August 8 at Gateway Theatre of Shopping’s Wave House.
Vocalist and guitarist Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart and drummer John Humphrey - who are collectively known as Seether - are back to perform for the first time since 2008.
"It has been four years since we have been able to play for our fans in Durban and we can't wait to get back home to South Africa to headline Wave House again," said Shaun Morgan. “Growing up in Pietermaritzburg, this is a real homecoming for me and Dale and we can’t wait to play for all the fans that have been there for us since the beginning.”
To date, Seether has sold millions of albums worldwide and are the mainstays in the touring circuit averaging more than 275 performances per year. They have had 11 #1 singles and 17 Top 5 hits across multiple formats on radio.
The South African trio’s latest single No Resolution from their Wind-Up Records release, Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Fray, hit #1 at Active Rock marking the first time the band has had three consecutive chart-topping tracks from the same album.
No Resolution follows in the footsteps of previous #1 singles, Country Song and Tonight, and continues the band’s undeniable dominance at the format.
Seether performs on August 8 at the Wave House, Gateway Theatre of Shopping. Tickets are R265 booked through Computicket. For more information contact Sally Kauffman on sally@wavehouse.co.za
