TATHAM ART GALLERY NEWS

September 20 sees the opening of Retinal Shift by 2012 Standard Bank Young Artist Award winner, Mikhael Subotzky. There will be an exhibition walkabout on September 27 at 13h00 in the Main Exhibition Room and Lorna Ferguson Room: The exhibition runs until November 11.

September 26 at 13h10: Piano recital by Rashalia Pather presented by FOTAG and Music Revival in the Lorna Ferguson Room.

Running until October 7: Lumo, exhibition of recent works by Dr. Valerie Leigh in the Schreiner Gallery.

Running until 2013: South African Landscapes in the Lorna Ferguson Room; Contemplation Animal - Mineral-Vegetable in the Ceramics Room and Drawings and Prints in the International Prints’ Room:

September 21 from 10h00 to 16h00, the Tatham Shop offers a variety of interesting crafts and art items made by local crafters. The Shop also stocks items from the successful Meeting the Makers exhibition – items can be seen on the Shop’s website at www.tathamshop.org.za To expand and highlight creativity, Mary Kleinenberg is constantly on the lookout for new items to add on the shop.
