Well known pianist Christopher Duigan, one
of KZN’s most prolific classical artists, appears in concert at St Agnes Church
in Kloof tonight.
Duigan, who is widely regarded as one of
the leading South African classical concert pianists, presents a programme of
classical masterpieces that carefully balances style, colour and mood. The
programme includes sonatas by Scarlatti, the Sonata Pathetique op 13 by Ludwig van Beethoven, impromptus by
Franz Schubert, and selections from Claude Debussy's Images together with music by South American Alberto Ginastera.
Duigan is a Steinway Artist and will be
playing a Steinway Grand Piano Model ‘B’ for this performance.
