The African Art Centre is showing a
selection of work at the Alliance Française Art Fair.
Beautiful telephone wire baskets will also
be featured as well as small paintings by young artists such as Victor Shange
and Mbhekeni Mbhili. There are also works by embroiderers Xolile Ndlovu and
Tholakele Mdakane whose bright cheerful embroidered stories have a unique KZN
quality. This is an exhibition with a happy feel and prices suitable for
Christmas shopping.
The Art Fair runs until December 9. Alliance
