Arts Interactive is an interactive group/gathering of those interested
in the betterment of the visual arts. Meetings are held on a regular basis, on
the second Wednesday of every month.
The next meeting on November 14 is themed Something Different when a number of guests will be talking about
their favourite artist or an artist that has inspired them in their artistic
journey.
Marianne Meijer will discuss the great
Dutch traditional Master, Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. Nic Human will talk on
contemporary American Illustrator, Brad Holland, while Daryl Houghton will focus
on the famous English female sculptor, Barbara Hepworth.
Arts Interactive’s March 2013 meeting will
be in a similar vein, using other guest speakers with their artist’s of choice.
The meeting will take place on November 14
at the Hellenic Hall, Browns Drift in Durban North in the pub area, Eat Greek,
at 18h00 f0r 18h30. Entrance R60/head and dinner will be provided by Eat Greek.
