Over the festive season, the Essenwood
Market will be open on Friday evenings for after-work shoppers, browsers and
those in search of a delicious alfresco meal under the stars.
Essenwood Craft Market, under a lush canopy
of evergreen trees in Durban’s bustling Berea, is focused on the entire family.
The kiddies play area is conveniently situated right next to the Food Garden enabling
parents to keep a close eye on their children at play while they enjoy a meal
or 'cuppa' in a lively and sociable atmosphere complimented by the music of one
of the many buskers.
On offer are arts and crafts; garments,
jewellery and accessories; books and music; deli items and edibles; decor and
gift items ... and more – from aprons to crystals! There are more traders in
anticipation of the festive season, and increased festive season fare.
The Essenwood Twilight Markets will be held
on December 7, 14 and 21 from 17h30 until 21h30. Otherwise, the market is open
every Saturday from 09h00 until 14h00.
