It all started on September 8 when Ntombifuthi Mtshali, Sinethembe Ngubane and Nomfundo Mzobe auditioned for the Topstars Reality Show and now their dream job, as an on-air presenter at Gagasi FM is almost a reality.

With the closing date looming on November 15 at midnight one of these lucky young ladies will be the winner of the Topstars Reality Show. She will receive a one year contract courtesy of Gagasi FM as well as a new laptop, smartphone and shopping voucher courtesy of RedGrape Media & Events. This entire initiative wouldn’t have been possible without the KZN Office of the Premier and RedGrape Media & Events production.

More than 1,000 hopefuls were seen in six towns across KZN –Vryheid, Ladysmith, Empangeni, Port Shepstone, Pietermaritzburg and Durban. The three finalists are now learning the ins and outs of presenting a radio show and are currently being trained on how to operate broadcasting equipment.

Each of these three finalists will have a turn to host “their own show” from midnight to 04h00:

Ntombifuthi Mtshali from Empangeni - November 2, 5, 8, 11 and 14.
Sinethembe Ngubane from Pietermaritzburg - November 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15
Nomfundo Mzobe from Mtubatuba - November 4, 7, 10, 13 and 16.

Listeners can tune in and vote for their favourite TopStar Gagasi FM presenter. All calls are charged at the standard cell phone rates. The winner will be announced at a black tie affair on November 17. For more information visit
